As a successor to the successful Yabby series, the Barra aims to introduce an affordable tracker to the market, targeting a broader audience. Available in three versions, Edge 4G, GPS 4G and Core 4G, the Barra series offers various functionalities.
The Edge 4G version gathers essential information and transmits it to the Digital Matter location server, which then calculates highly accurate locations, both indoors and outdoors. This approach benefits the battery life, with an impressive 10-year duration on just 2 x AA batteries at 2 messages per day.
On the other hand, the GPS 4G can determine locations directly but lacks the ability to scan Wi-Fi access points for accurate indoor location tracking. As a result, the GPS 4G is a standard tracker primarily intended for outdoor use.
The Barra Core 4G, on the other hand, is the cheapest premium tracker in the world. This tracker only scans Wi-Fi access points and doesn't have GPS functionalities, making it especially suitable for indoor use.
